Tan and Go Mousse Now Available!

The popular Tan and Go is now available in a mousse formula as well! Jackie O has become addicted to the Medium/Dark Tan and Go Mousse that she uses to top up in between her regular fortnightly tan. It goes on as smooth as silk and is tinted so that you can see where you are applying. It's such a fabulously light formula and each bottle has about 4 full body tanning applications - thus making it a true bargain at only $40 a bottle! It's the perfect way to even up those legs after you've shaved, or to deepen your spray tan once it's begun fading to take you through to your next appointment. Clear Skin for Spring  

Winter is behind us (finally!!!) and Pink Hibiscus® is crossing fingers for a much warmer summer this time around! Hopefully you've been keeping up your beauty routine over the cool months so that you're skin is prepared to be flaunted this season...but...if you're like most of us, you've taken the opportunity to cover up and may have neglected your skin a little...only a little of course! Never fear...the Pink Hibiscus® fairy is here! Here is a step by step guide to fabulously flawless skin. We'll focus on the body this month and move onto the face next issue.

Step 1: Exfoliate your body once a week! Don't think that you only need to do this when preparing for a tan. This is the best way to ensure that your skin is smooth and fresh for spring. Our Body Smoother (RRP $24) is the perfect antidote to neglected winter skin. Remember to use it on dry skin. Step into the shower cubicle and rub the Body Smoother firmly all over your body, especially focussing on the dry areas like knees, elbows and feet. The ground walnut coupled with warming and stimulating essential oils not only assists in stripping the skin of dead cells but also in improving circulation which can be beneficial when targeting cellulite prone areas like your thighs. Massage away and then turn the shower on to rinse off.

Step 2: Use one of our aroma or tropical lathers with exfoliating gloves to wash your body without stripping it of moisture.

Step 3: Defuzz if need be by either shaving/waxing or epilating.

Step 4: Pat dry...don't rub.

Step 5: Apply lashings of moisturiser. We recommend our Body Cocoon (RRP $25) for drier, sensitive skin (or for those who like wearing perfume because it doesn't conflict). Alternatively, if you want a gentle tropical fragrance as well as nourishment, our Tropical Body Soufflé available in Frangipani, Coconut or Mango fragrance (RRP $23) is the go.

Pink Hibiscus® Spreads Its Wings

As some of you may know, the owner of Pink Hibiscus®, Natalie Aroyan, has a background in Publicity and Promotions which has come in real handy with building her business. With Pink Hibiscus® growing steadily and more people and businesses asking for publicity related advice, Natalie has made the decision to expand Pink Hibiscus® to include services in all aspects of Publicity...yes, she likes being busy!

Her first port of call was as the Publicist of Miss World Australia, Caroline Pemberton . Natalie has secured her the position of Ambassador of the Grand Prix and they both recently headed down to Melbourne to have a ‘media day' prior to the big event next week.

Caroline and Natalie will be attending all Grand Prix related events including the largest event of the year, the Official Grand Prix Ball. It's all very exciting as the first official project of Pink Hibiscus® Publicity and we are looking forward to supporting Caroline in her career post Miss World Australia as well.

The face of Pink Hibiscus®, Bella, enjoys being seen at all of the hip and happening parties and awards ceremonies and that's why Pink Hibiscus® will be involved with the 2008 Movie Extra Filmink Awards this year!

After the success of the first ever Style Villa last year, we couldn't resist when asked to treat the winners and presenters of the awards with some Pink Hibiscus® goodness! The stars will receive Refresh Face and Body Mists to cool them down after a long wait to see who the winners are...oh and to prepare them for the after party of course!

A Pink Hibiscus® Pamper Pack will be given away to one lucky guest at the Kevin McKenzie NY Salon Launch in Sydney later in March. The famous hair designer has set up down under and we are really pleased to be associated with the brand.
